"...set of Clarence Duttons Tertiary History of the Grand Canyon District with accompanying folio atlas. Both text volume and atlas volume are in very good to fine condition. The text volume has 42 plates including maps and charts and including two chromolithographs and is in nearly fine condition with slight dullness to spine and minor flecking to boards of the original dark brown cloth binding . . . The atlas volume is complete and in original dark brown cloth binding lettered in gilt . . . with very good to fine condition noted. Because the two are found together, when they are so often split up and sold separately, there is a slight premium on them being found together..."
